ÉCOLE DES JEUNES ARTISTES

L’école des jeunes artistes is a French art school for children aged 6 to 13. The program is based on the development of the creative process as well as visual arts knowledge. Click here for the 2008 session information

Le Mârdi Jazz

Every Tuesday night features the best jazz musicians of Manitoba and elsewhere.
 

Coup de cœur francophone

For 10 years now, the CCFM, a major partner in a coast-to-coast event, has presented Coup de cœur francophone, a series of shows promoting local and national Francophone music and showcasing a variety of established artists, as well as newcomers to the music scene. Francophone artists.

Presented every year in november there are now 8 partners and 10 participating provinces. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, there are over 20 cities who present coup de coeur francophone. As the official manitoban representative, the CCFM's objective is to promote and to broadcast francophone music.

Coup de cœur is sponsored by Radio-Canada Manitoba and Heritage Canada.
 

La Ligue d'improvisation du Manitoba (LIM)

Since 2006, la Ligue d'improvisation du Manitoba is now produced by the CCFM. Once again, four teams comprised of a maximum of six players and one coach battle it out for the chance to take home the Coupe Canot. Stay tuned for next year's season.

 

Quelques Arpents de Pièges (QADP)

The Centre culturel franco-manitobain continues its presentation of this French-style Trivial Pursuit board game. Join your friends or co-workers in this ultimate test of knowledge and laughs, in the capable and enthusiastic hands of the evening’s emcee, Edward Humphrey. The 2006-2007 is now finished. Please check our website at the end of the summer for next season's schedule.

Festival du Voyageur

During the Festival du Voyageur, the CCFM features local and national artists.

Foyer des écrivains (during the Winnipeg International Writers Festival)

French-evening programs take place at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain and features local and visiting francophone writers and others artists. Guaranteed lively gatherings.

Fête de la Musique (World Music Day)

Since June 21, 2007 the CCFM has been hosting the Fête de la Musique (World Music Day), and also celebrates Canada Day at the same time!

IN OUR SCHOOLS  


Santa's Village

In an enchanting setting resembling the North Pole, this annual educational program is offered to groups of children aged 2 to 8 years.

The one-hour visit to Santa’s Village includes dancing, singing, a puppet show and personal visit with Santa Claus.


L’Ensemble folklorique de la Rivière-Rouge

Created in 1947 as a community organization this ensemble is well-known for its lively music, songs and dances. Since 2008 L’Ensemble operates its programmes through the Centre culturel franco-manitobain and offers dance classes for kids and adults, a school programme and also performances for conventions and cultural activities.
